The system is designed to use an outdoor card reader, an indoor card reader, a room thermostat for climate control, and the appropriate controller. These devices are mutually connected through the ARMbus line that ensures power supply and communication. The room controller provides other devices with data on the exact date and time and coordinates their operation depending on the different parameters: time of day/night, guest presence, window status, card type and the like. Based on the above parameters, each room operates completely independently according to well-defined rules.
In addition to access control, room supply control and temperature control, this solution also includes the welcoming light control and main light control. It is also intended to signal the following statuses: window open detection, do not disturb and room occupied/available.
The system is designed to use one card programmator that is connected to the workstation (PC) at the reception desk where the card programming software is installed. The software allows the creation of different types of cards (guest, maid, security, receptionist, manager and others) that relate to a given person and that may have a limited or unlimited validity period. While programming the card, it is very easy to grant access rights for the appropriate premises for each card.
